David practices in the field of building and construction law and commercial litigation. He has a depth of experience in the construction and general commercial field spanning more than 20 years. In the early part of his career, David worked in the Commercial Property and Corporate fields which means he brings to the resolution of construction and general commercial disputes a strong practical and commercial approach.
David has extensive experience in pre-contract and tender negotiations, contracts and subcontracts. He has a wealth of experience in construction litigation, alternative dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration and adjudication within all courts and the Commercial and Consumer Tribunal.
He advises a broad range of commercial and private clients including: public companies, schools, government organisations and individuals. In the building industry his clients include commercial and domestic builders, developers, project managers, architects and engineers.
David has two children who take up most of his limited spare time. Otherwise, he enjoys golf, following rugby union, coaching his son's cricket team and, occasionally, doing the swim leg in triathlons.
